To install the booking engine on WordPress:

Install the Sirvoy Booking Engine Plugin

  1. Sign in to your WordPress website.
  2. Go to Plugins -> Add New, and search for “Sirvoy”.
  3. Click “Install Now”.
  4. After the installation is complete, click “Activate”.

Retrieve the Booking Engine Shortcode

  1. Sign in to Sirvoy.
  2. Go to Settings -> Booking engines.
  3. Click the three dots adjacent to the booking engine you want.
  4. In the drop-down list, click “How to Install.”

Add the Booking Engine to a WordPress Page

There are two areas the booking engine can be displayed.

1. Page Editor

To include the Sirvoy booking engine on a specific page:

  1. Paste the shortcode to your WordPress page.

Tip: Place a booking review form in the same way. Find the shortcode at Settings -> Guest portal -> Install.

 

2. Widget Area

To include your booking engine in a Widget area, such as a sidebar:

  1. Go to a WordPress page with a widget area.
  2. In the top menu, click “Customize”.
  3. Click on “Widgets”.
  • If multiple sections are an option, click all sections you would like to display the booking engine.
  1. Click “Add a Widget”.
  2. In the widget list, select “Text”.
  3. In the text area, paste the shortcode.
  4. Press “Publish”.
