Message templates can be used to communicate with guests either automatically or manually. You can automatically include relevant guest and booking information in your messages by adding “placeholders”, and thus personalize the message being sent.

  1. Go to Settings -> Communications.
  2. Click “Add new template” to create either an email or SMS template.
  3. On the right hand side of the page you will see the available placeholder codes. Use these to dynamically insert booking information in the message template.

Note: For any pre-formatted text that you paste into the template, please clear the text format using the “Clear formatting” feature. If not done, this can cause the email to look different than intended. Also note that you have the possibility to format the text within Sirvoy.
