Many channels, including Booking.com and Expedia, allow you to have multiple rates for a certain room type, for example “last minute”, “minimum 7 nights”, “breakfast included”, “non refundable”, etc. The availability is set on room type level by most channels, meaning that all rates share the same pool of available rooms.

In Sirvoy, there is no such thing as “rates”. Rather, each room type & rate combination existing in the channel, has to be mapped to a unique room type in Sirvoy.

However, you can easily create “duplicate” room types in Sirvoy, to represent the different rates. Duplicate room types share the same pool of rooms. Thus, you can for example have one room type called “Double room – standard rate”, and another room type called “Double room – breakfast included”.
