In Sirvoy, stay restrictions let you control when certain room types can be booked. You can apply restrictions to specific dates, check-in or check-out days, or across an entire period.

This can help you manage availability during high-demand events, run special promotions, or block rooms for maintenance. If you need to block just a specific room instead of a full room type, you can do that too.

Setting Up a Stay Restriction

To create a new stay restriction:

1. Go to Settings > Availability
2. Under Stay restrictions, click New restriction.
3. Enter a Name and set the Unavailable from and Available from dates.
4. Toggle on what sort of activity to block:
   • Block check-ins
   • Block check-ins and stays
   • Block check-outs
5. (Optional) If you only want some room types affected, toggle off All Room types, then select the specific room types to include.
6. (Optional) If you don’t want the restriction to apply to all days, toggle off All days and select the specific days to apply it to.
7. Click Save.
