Longer stay pricing lets you set discounts for weekly, monthly, or custom-length stays—helping you stay competitive for guests planning extended visits.
These rates are visible on your booking engine and to your team in Sirvoy, but they don’t apply to bookings from connected channels.
Create longer stay prices
To create discounts for longer stays:
- Go to Settings > Pricing
- Next to Longer Stay Pricing, click New longer stay price
- Enter a name for the pricing
- In the For check-ins on dropdown, select the check-in days this pricing applies to
- Set the Price change starts and Normal price resumes dates
- Under Discount rate, choose:
- Weeks or Months for weekly or monthly rates.
- Adjusted nightly for custom ranges (for example, 3–5 nights).
- Enter the new price or discount for each applicable room type
- Click Save
Note: Weekly and monthly rates override other room type rates or discounts that fall within the same timeframe. Some longer stay prices override each other, specifically:
- Monthly rates override weekly and adjusted nightly rates.
- Weekly rates override adjusted nightly rates.
How longer stay prices are applied
Longer stay pricing is applied based on the guest’s total stay length and check-in date:
- Monthly rates: Apply when check-in and check-out are on the same day in consecutive months (for example, March 3–April 3), or when the total stay length is divisible by 30.
- Weekly rates: Apply when the total stay length is divisible by 7.
- Adjusted nightly rates: Apply for custom ranges that don’t qualify for weekly or monthly rates.
Example A (weekly rate not applied):
- Base nightly rate: $130.
- Weekly rate: $700 ($100 per night).
- Stay: 9 nights.
- Since 9 isn’t divisible by 7, the weekly rate doesn’t apply. The 9-night stay is priced at the $130 base rate.
Example B (using adjusted nightly):
To apply the $100 nightly rate for stays longer than 7 nights, add an Adjusted nightly rate of $100. This ensures that longer stays beyond a full week still get the reduced rate.
Note: If you adjust an existing booking’s total stay nights, make sure to select Update prices or Retrieve current price before saving. This ensures that the current pricing, including longer stay pricing, correctly applies to the new stay dates.
