Manage Language Settings Add Descriptions for Supported Languages Available Languages for the Booking Engine Interface

Sirvoy’s booking engine supports up to 31 languages, making it easy for guests to complete their booking in their preferred language based on their browser settings.


Manage Language Settings

To manage these language settings:

  1. Go to Settings > Communications > Languages.
  2. Use these settings:
  • Offer booking engine in all supported languages: Controls whether the booking engine interface automatically switches to any available language or limits itself to the specific languages you select.
  • Supported Languages: Determines which languages you will provide names and descriptions for room types and extras.

How These Settings Work Together:

If Offer booking engine in all supported languages is set to Yes, and only English is selected as a supported language.

  • Guests with their browser set to French will see the Booking Engine interface in French, while the descriptions of room types will remain in English.

If Offer booking engine in all supported languages is set to No, and only English is selected as a supported language.

  • Guests with their browser set to French will see the booking engine interface and descriptions of room types in English.
 

Add Descriptions for Supported Languages

When you add a new supported language, existing room types and extras will not automatically have names and descriptions in that language. To add translations manually:

  1. Go to Settings > Accommodations or Settings > Extras.
  2. Click Edit next to a room type or extra.
  3. Under Languages, enter a Name and Description in the newly supported language.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Repeat these steps for each room type and extra.

The booking engine interface is available in these languages:
